We are seeking a motivated and experienced Utility Tree Trimmer Foreman to oversee our tree trimming operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vegetation management, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the UTT Foreman you will be responsible to:

·Supervise and coordinate the activities of tree trimming crews.

·Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

·Inspect work sites to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.

·Train and mentor tree trimming personnel.

·Develop and implement work schedules and project plans.

·Maintain equipment and ensure proper usage and maintenance.

Communicate effectively with utility companies, property owners, and crew members.

Manage and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on the job site.

Prepare and submit reports on work progress and project outcomes

QUALIFICATIONS:

As the UTT Foreman you will bring:

·Minimum of 5 years of experience in tree trimming or utility vegetation management.

·Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.

Utility Tree Trimming training

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in forestry, arboriculture, or related field is an asset.

·Aerial Life Operations and Fall Protection

·Chainsaw Safety Certification is ideal

·Tree Risk Management training is an asset.

·Strong knowledge of tree trimming techniques, tools, and equipment.

·Excellent understanding of safety standards and practices.

·Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record..

·Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

·Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office).

ROLE CRITERIA:

·Clean and Valid Driver’s License

·Ability to climb trees and work at heights.

·Capable of lifting heavy equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs).

·Physical stamina and the ability to work in physically demanding environments.
