GET TO KNOW YOUR AREA:   

The primary responsibilities of this role, Contract Maternity Leave (18 months), Territory Sales Manager- Range and Pasture (RP) and Vegetation Management (VM), based in central Alberta, are to:

Create demand at end user level and manage sales to the retail range and pasture channel network in a geographical region (RP territory includes all of Alberta, VM territory Red Deer south.). Partner with the sales force of the distribution partners and/or Envu’s sales team to drive the consumption of our products in the region.

YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:   

Manage time and focus across multiple market segments (range and pasture, utility, bare ground, noxious/invasive, roadside.) potentially with different associated channel partners and applicators

Create and present the product line review to the customers and end users in the region

Provide the high level of technical product training and support to the key customers and end users’ with the support of Envu Product Stewardship Manager.

Create demand at the end user level. Analyze end user regional sales monthly and propose market share development plans to management on a quarterly basis

Manage customer complaints and inquiries within area with support from regional stewardship managers.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE?  

Main requirements:   

Bachelor’s degree in science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

Excellent presentation and selling skills, including use of support software

High capacity to define priorities and to allocate time resources

Excellent technical knowledge of Range and Pasture marketplace and herbicides, and technical knowledge of the VM marketplace and herbicides would be beneficial.

Strong knowledge of application equipment would also be an asset.

Ability to manage execution of all channel programs and marketing concepts

Ability to work in cross functional team environment

Precise and concise reporting

Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervisor.

Ability to travel within territory and occasionally travel outside territory.

Valid driver’s license and ability to operate motor vehicles safely
